Community Details

WLPOA owns the original lake which is located on the Warrenton (or left) side of Nordix Drive, the dam, property below the dam and a small lot bordering the lake and Nordix Drive. The small lot, shown in green, provides a place for WLPOA residents to sit, fish, enjoy picnics and access the lake. 

The larger Addition To Warrenton Lakes Association (AWLA) consists of 489 lots mostly located beyond Hunton Street plus most homes on Princess Anne Court and Tazewell Street.

The other two lakes in the subdivision are part of the AWLA.

The first Warrenton Lakes Subdivision homes were built in the 1950s. Until subdivision expansion began in 1973, Nordix Drive ended at the WLPOA lake. Most of the now over 500 homes were built in the following decade. The last new home was built about 2021.
